In line with its commitment to effective waste management and a cleaner Edo State, the Edo State Waste Management Board (EWMB), has intensified maintenance activities at the Ikhueniro Dumpsite.

Led by the Managing Director, Amb. Dr. Lucky Enehita-Inegbenehi, the exercise involved clearing and leveling waste heaps, site sanitation, and general maintenance.

The aim is to improve operational efficiency and expand the facility’s capacity.
These efforts are critical as Ikhueniro serves as a major disposal point for waste collectors across the State, directly impacting environmental health and public sanitation.
By maintaining the dumpsite, the Board is ensuring a safer and more conducive environment for waste disposal operations, reducing delays in waste evacuation, and supporting cleaner communities throughout Edo State.
The Board expresses its sincere appreciation to His Excellency, Monday Okpebholo for his unwavering support and commitment to improving sanitation; and restoring cleanliness across Edo State.
