The Media Team of the ministry headed by Daisy Osunde, a director, made this known in a press release circulated amongst journalists in Benin, weekend.

Addressing their host, the State Commissioner for the Ministry, Mrs. Eugenia Abdallah; Usifoh described TEAM HOC as a non-governmental organization committed to discovering creative minds and empowering young students to attain their hidden potentials.

He noted that every individual possesses a talent that only needs the right platform and guidance to flourish.

Usifoh informed the ministry of the organization’s forthcoming programme titled: ‘From Admission to Ambition,’ aimed at mentoring students and supporting their educational aspirations.

According to him, the programme will also provide scholarships to some deserving students.

Usifoh further stated that from interactions and findings gathered by the organization, many students secure admission into tertiary institutions but are unable to continue their education, due to financial constraints.

Responding, the Ministry’s Commissioner, Mrs. Abdallah while thanking ‘TEAM HOC’ for the visit, commended its commitment to youth development and educational support.

She added; that initiatives geared towards empowering young people and promoting education, align with the vision of the Edo State Government in building a productive and self-reliant society.

As She noted, that many young persons only require encouragement and opportunities to excel.

The Commissioner further assured the organization of the ministry’s willingness to collaborate with credible groups and initiatives that positively impact women, children, and youths across the State.
