As traditional, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State Chapter has felicitated Muslim faithful globally particularly in Nigeria, in the celebration of this year’s festivities of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a statement by the Party’s State spokesman, Prince Peter Enosoregbe Uwadiae Igbinigie, and availed journalists in Benin it urged living the virtues of Eid: “generosity and empathy that underpin our shared values.”

The statement reads: “On behalf of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State Chapter, we warmly felicitates all Muslim faithful in Edo State, Nigeria, and beyond on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
“This sacred festival marks the conclusion of the blessed month of Ramadan, a period of spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and profound devotion to Allah.
“Eid-el-Fitr is not only a time of celebration and thanksgiving but also a season to renew our commitment to unity, peace, and compassion.
“It is a moment to strengthen family bonds, foster harmony in our communities, and extend a helping hand to the less privileged.
“In the spirit of Eid, we encourage every citizen to embrace tolerance, understanding, and the virtues of generosity and empathy that underpin our shared values.
“As we rejoice in this blessed festival, the APC reaffirms its commitment to the people of Edo State.
