Once again, the journey to electing representatives to the Edo State House of Assembly, like other parts of Nigeria begins in earnest.
Therefore, my good and ever conscious people of Egor Constituency, faithful and dependable party members, stalwarts and critical stakeholders of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, (APC), it’s time to look in retrospect at past representations!
A retrospect to determine whom the cap fits to fill-in the missing link occassioned by a rape of our democratic tenents under the past administration; in order to continue the excellent representation perfected by our great party statemen who had once occupied this esteemed office and performed brilliantly in the course of their tenure.

In the light of the aforesaid, I want to as a matter of importance at this juncture, urge us all to evaluate the prevailing situation in Egor Constituency in relation to the various issues affecting us, and who should be our representative at the State House of Assembly.
Consequently, having sincerely examined myself in terms of the requirements – intellectually, mentally, spiritually, politically, and otherwise, and having widely consulted, especially with my maker, mentors and party stakeholders; referencing the times that we are in, I Bright Osamede Onaiwu, has come to the conclusion that the time is now!
Therefore, I wholeheartedly present myself to you for consideration and nomination as candidate in the forthcoming party primary to fly the flag of our great party, in the 2027 general election.
I make bold to say; ‘Bright Osamede Onaiwu’ arguably; is the most credible, unifying, and visionary aspirant to take over the reins of representation of the good people of Egor Constituency, at the Edo State House of Assembly in the next dispensation. It is no gain saying; I hold the ace!

My proven track record; service and loyalty to the party spanning almost two decades, and unwavering commitment to ethical leadership standards makes me the best and most credible choice; trust me!
Becoming the representative of the people of Egor Constituency at the State House of Assembly; will restore trust, inspire hope, and undoubtedly lead the way toward a new dawn.
A new dawn of reawakened consciousness, to be in sync with social and infrastructural development going on both at the local government area, state and national levels!
In the wave of the Nigeria units looking inward for self growth and development; Egor Constituency cannot be left behind at this time!
Hence, the quality in the personage of Bright Osamede Onaiwu; a man who has been in the mix over the years at the grassroots; is badly needed to be sent to the hallowed Chambers of the Edo State House of Assembly.
I have been here over the years, not just as an onlooker but an active participant who has thoroughly learned the ropes.
Coupled with the fact that I know what the issues affecting Egor Constituency and her people are; and I feel the pains just like everyone else.
I am neither a normadic politician, a greenhorn nor a stranger! I am one of you, always consistent and straight forward!
I am educated; a builder, intelligent and morally sound, very outspoken, bold and fearless. Above all, a very responsible family man!
At the Edo State House of Assembly, I pledge; I will aggressively be pushing for the motions and bills that will help synergize with other arms of government, to positively change the face of Egor Constituency and her people.
I am promising a vibrant representation akin to that of great minds who represented Egor Constituency in the wake of the forth and fifth assembly and possibly surpass theirs considering the fact that I’m a protege of these great men.
Egor Constituency would be experiencing something radically different now; when the privilege is afforded me.
I am therefore appealing; that Egor Constituency APC party men and women should avail me their shoulders, not as liliputians but as giants to stand upon; as we march into the next dispensation of representation!
I already have the voice; clear and loud, I will ceaselessly advocate the issues as they affect us all; and by the grace of God, Egor Constituency and her people will be proud that they have a representative in no other person, but Onaiwu!
